Learn how mission driven companies measure social impact. Sara Olsen has been recognized twice by Bloomberg Businessweek as one of America’s Most Promising Social Entrepreneurs. She’s the founder and CEO of SVT Group, where she helps revolutionary, game-changing businesses and investors measure their impact.
Sara started SVT Group in 2001 with the vision that one day accounting for social value would be a standard business practice. With SVT she has designed systems that today reveal the impact of over $2.5Bn in over 30 countries. The SVT team has specialized expertise in many industries including reforestation, green technology, sustainable agriculture, maternal and child health, education and community economic development.
Sara also has professorships at Hult International Business School and the Monterey Institute of International Studies, where she teaches social impact assessment and management for social entrepreneurs and impact investors. With SVT and these allies, since 2001 she has worked directly with some 7900 people to teach impact accounting & management.
She is also the co-founder of the Global Social Venture Competition, a globally recognized public speaker, and the mother of a 2-year old daughter.
